Lovely dining experience from start to finish. Welcoming upscale interior with small bar. Outstanding martini made to specific requirements and bartender’s knowledge on beer was spot on. Menu was seasonal and eclectic. We shared a beet and goat cheese appetizer with a tasty citrus vinaigrette. We had the Thai inspired mussels and rib eye with Gorgonzola. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and could have stood on its own. Loved the 1/2 bottle wine options. And our waitress, Kristin, was incredible. Great experience here.

Perfect place for celebrating a special occasion. Our waiter David provided great pairing choices for wine to go with our dinners, we toasted the night, and the delicate way my swordfish was prepared made it the most savory I've ever even had. Not to metion desert. Wonderful evening !

We celebrated my son’s law school graduation here last weekend as a party of 10. Being from Long Island I trusted reviews and photos for my choice of restaurant and I couldn’t be happier with our dinner. From the service to the food and atmosphere Bacchus was excellent. David was our waiter and he was amazing, the busser and runners were great as was the hostess. As a former fine dining restaurant manager I notice everything and no one missed a beat. My sister in law is also in the industry and she agreed, amazing service all around. Every dish was presented elegantly and tasted amazing. Thank you to the Chef and back of house staff for making my son’s dinner so special! I will absolutely return again as my son is moving to Buffalo. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Deserving of Michelin star rating. This restaurant did not disappoint. Went with my gf, had the asparagus ravioli and peacan crusted salmon.Probably the best meal i've ever had. And the beet salad was amazing and as well as the presentation. Gf also had the Manhattan and i had a margarita, they don't cheap out on the alc. Highly recommended. 10 stars!!!

Last night we had a wonderful evening at Bacchus. From the moment we valet parked the car until we left it was a perfect dining experience. Caroline our server could not have been more nice, friendly and attentive. She never tried to rush us and was great in making dining recommendations . The food from the beet salad to the halibut special were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. French press decaf coffee at the end of the evening was a nice touch. It's rare when a dining experience is all encompassing and last night was just that.

Where does one even begin when talking about how great Bacchus is? They hosted our micro-wedding dinner (12 people) on October 31 and it could not have been more perfect. Catherine, the events coordinator, was incredibly helpful, even on short notice after our initial reception location fell through, and she made us feel completely at ease leading up to the evening. Derek, our waiter, was amazing, attentive, friendly, and absolutely on top of everything. And the chef, who loaned us the wildest knife to cut our cake, made the night even more unforgettable. The entire evening was exceptional. If anyone is looking for a place to host an event in Buffalo, Bacchus is the place. We could not recommend it more highly. We will definitely be back, just the two of us, for dinner and drinks very soon. The photos do not even do it justice. Just go and see for yourself.

Loved this place. We were celebrating college graduation and had an amazing meal, in an amazing setting. We all really enjoyed our appetizers and mains.

Live music was awesome. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but we had a reservation. The service was great except for the end when we were waiting for the check and trying to get to a show nearby. Food was good and wine was lovely.

A total gem in the downtown scene. The menu is incredibly unique—the octopus appetizer is a must-try, and the duck breast was easily some of the best I’ve had. Professional, attentive service makes the whole experience feel special.

After making reservations in advance, we came here with a group of friends on New Years Eve. There are multiple parking lots and garages in the area to park, or use their valet. We were seated right away and our server (Derick) was very attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic and prepared just as we ordered. They even brought out several items for us to try (no charge). My wife and I each ordered the Fillet Mignon, and it was delicious... one of the best I've had in quite some time! The dessert menu was good too, we ordered the Creme brulee and the tiramisu... both excellent choices. If you haven't tried Bacchus for dinner, I would definitely recommend giving Bacchus an opportunity to serve you an amazing meal.
